Founded in 1981, the Evergreen Animal Protective League (EAPL) has dedicated over four decades to rescuing, sheltering, and rehoming lost, abandoned, and suffering animals. As a volunteer-driven organization, we operate foster-based rescue programs and maintain a retail thrift store whose profits directly support our mission. Pet Adoption
Our comprehensive adoption program matches rescued animals with loving homes through a structured process. We provide medical care, behavioral assessments, and foster support for dogs, cats, and other animals. Adopters receive guidance on pet care and post-adoption support to ensure successful transitions.
Foster Care Program
Volunteer foster families provide temporary care for animals until permanent homes are found. This program offers individualized attention, medical rehabilitation, and socialization for animals with special needs. Fosters receive full support and resources from our organization.
Thrift Store
Our retail thrift store generates critical funding for animal rescue operations. Donated items are sold to support veterinary care, adoption programs, and community education initiatives. The store operates with volunteer assistance and three part-time employees.
Pet Registration
We offer free collar tag registration to help reunite lost pets with owners. This service includes maintaining lost pet records and coordinating with local shelters. Registered pets have increased chances of being returned safely to their families.

Love supporting a good cause and saving items from the landfill. This shop is well-organized, clean, and everything has price tags. Things were reasonably priced already but they were also running a couple great sales and so it was easy to get what you wanted. The staff (I'll bet they're volunteers) are friendly and knowledgeable. We had fun shopping. Definitely recommend.

Owner was rushing customers out of the door. Maybe 5pm would be a better closing time? Also, is there an animal in this business sometimes? I knelt on a rug to look at something and when I got to my car, my pants were absolutely covered in hair or some kind of hairy particle (maybe from the rug?). Not too much of a problem since I had tape with me, but it did give me a significant allergic reaction and I've had to use my asthma inhaler.

My favorite thrift store. Not a place to look for a BUNCH of clothes but I love that they have high quality gems at an awesome price! The perfect place for kitchen ware and obviously, your animal needs! The store is organized, stocked, and the volunteers and employees are on point! If you love to craft, THIS IS YOUR SPOT. I can never express my love for this place enough!

This is my favorite thrift store, there is no other thrift like it in the metro. The items are quality, they don't put out garbage. Even though the store is small, they have great selections. Lastly, boy ohh boy are the prices good, like cheap good! I have gotten countless things there without breaking the bank. As long as EAPL is around, I will be a frequent guest!

Great Little place to shop has a lot more than I thought it would from the outside. Definitely worth the look today was buy one get one free of equal or less or value so that was really nice. Their money goes to animals which is awesome. Very friendly staff would definitely recommend this thrift store.
