At Playtime Doggie Daycare & Pet Salon, our staff is committed to providing all of our pets with the highest degree of safety and love. We are a female owned and independently operated small business. We have created a facility where dogs can build their social skills, exercise, and develop positive behaviors in a safe environment.
Doggie Daycare

All Daycare dogs are Temperament Tested before they are allowed to join the fun! During this appointment, the customer brings their dog in on a secure leash & collar, fills out an application, and presents their pet's updated vaccinations. We then meet with you and your dog and answer all of your questions.
Grooming & Bathing

Our pet grooming appointments are set up so that your pet receives one-on-one attention from our groomer. Your pet will spend a fraction of the time at our facility than they would at other grooming facilities. Use of deep cleansing shampoos and moisturizing conditioners that are professional grade, all natural, and organic.
Training

Our dog training classes have been created in partnership with the Delaware Humane Association (DHA) and its trainers. All classes are taught using "positive reinforcement" techniques and gentle training methods, so training is fun and stress-free for you and your dog. Classes are limited in size to maximize your dog's learning experience and to allow our trainers to provide personalized instruction. Course materials include a puppy parenting lecture, hands-on instruction in basic obedience training and advice on common "puppy problems".
