In 2005 Bradley and Stephanie realized their little store could no longer accommodate all the dogs that wanted to come. They began looking for a location that would offer more space and were lucky enough to find one in Belmont. In January of 2006 the original Crate Escape was born just 2 miles down the road.
Charlestown

Our 3rd location was opened in Charlestown in January of 2013. The building was perfect for dog daycare offering a large open space with lots of natural light, 5 play spaces and even outdoor space. We were excited about the ability to reach customers in the Boston area and to be part of such a unique community. We are neighbors of the Charlestown naval yard and are literally under the Tobin bridge-our claim to fame.

Our latest edition to our business has finally opened! The first plan was to do a small doggie daycare here, but the plans changed and we pivoted our intentions with the space. It turns out it's the perfect opportunity for a full service retail store carrying the best dog and cat (yes, that's right) products available.
