Visiting the shelter is the very best way to see and meet all of our adoptable pets! Please Note: Due to the 1) high demand for kittens and 2) large amount of kittens we receive during summer months, we are not always able to post each kitten available for adoption at the shelter.However, if you are interested in adopting a kitten, simply list "kitten" on your adoption application (and, if preferred, a male or female).

Thank you for considering adoption! By adopting a horse, you make a commitment to take care of the horse for the rest of its life. If you would like to be considered for adoption, you MUST schedule an appointment to meet and ride the horse that you are interested in. If you're looking for a wonderful life-long companion, then you've come to the right place! HSHA has animals of every shape and size to choose from. During their stay, our residents are treated by HSHA staff and volunteers to many enriching activities, such as walks, outings, events, school visits and socialization.
