We are committed to a no-kill philosophy while reducing animal cruelty, & advancing the highest standards of animal welfare though education and advocacy. We strive to provide outstanding service to our animals and community while promoting humane education and advocacy. Our extended family has adopted several animals from HAHS. The animals are well cared-for at the shelter, and the staff do a great job matching the right animal to adopter, taking into account the animal's personality and needs as well as the household.

In addition to the clean, friendly areas we make available for our animals, our "people" office is modern, spacious and welcoming. We have a well-equipped low-cost spay / neuter clinic, an animal bathing / grooming area and administrative office.

Our Services

Thank you for your interest in the low cost spay/neuter program. Our program provides low cost spay/neuter surgeries for low income pet owners' who meet the income guidelines. Your pet must be at least three months old at the time your application is submitted. Once the application, documents and fees have been received, reviewed, and approved by HAHS, you will be notified to schedule an appointment with us for your pet to be spayed or neutered.
