Pet Pride saves the lives of homeless cats in our community by providing sanctuary, medical care, and placement into forever homes. Our work is guided by a belief that every cat deserves a loving, permanent home. Once a cat is admitted to Pet Pride, they stay with us for as long as it takes to find them a forever home. We believe that no cat should be euthanized for want of a safe place to live and needed medical care. As a limited-intake, no-kill shelter, we do not euthanize cats in our care in order to make room for additional cats.

Our Sanctuary
Report
Our cats live in a home-like atmosphere in a permanent sanctuary set on 15 wooded acres in the town of Victor, New York. They are lovingly cared for by paid shelter staff, treated by local veterinarians, and pampered by dedicated volunteers. Our cats enjoy a clean, cat-centric environment with plenty of space to explore, play, and nap.

Pre-Adoption Considerations
Report
The decision to adopt a cat is a big one that will change your life as well as the cat's. Do you live in a place where cats are welcome? If you rent your home, be sure your lease allows for cats. Do you live with other people? Is everyone ready to welcome a new feline family member? Does anyone have allergies?
