Phillips Command Dogs / The Dog Guy NY LLC Stephen B. Phillips, Olean NY
I paid approximately $15,000 for a psychiatric service dog board-and-train program for my disabled child. At week thirteen of a fourteen-to-sixteen week program, Mr. Phillips wrote in his own email that my dog was "in the early stages of training as a Service Dog" and that he had "just started her scentwork training."
An independent professional evaluator assessed my dog after pickup and concluded she was not ready to become a service dog and was not showing competency at service-dog level.
When I respectfully requested a refund, Mr. Phillips responded unprofessionally and made false public statements about me on his business social media page.
Consumers considering this business for service dog work especially for a disabled child should request verifiable training records before signing anything or paying any money.

My dog is smarter than I am now! She learns and we practice at home and she's definitely a better dog for it. Love the attention she's gotten and his magic of teaching her exactly how to do things.
