Our agility program develops dogs' physical coordination through obstacle courses. Instructors teach handlers to guide dogs through jumps, weave poles, and contact equipment. Classes cater to all skill levels from beginners to competition-ready teams.
Obedience Classes
Structured obedience instruction focuses on basic commands, leash manners, and impulse control. We use positive reinforcement techniques to create reliable responses in distracting environments. Programs prepare dogs for AKC Canine Good Citizen certification.
Nose Work Seminars
Nose work classes harness dogs' natural scenting abilities through controlled detection exercises. Participants learn to identify specific odors in various environments. This mentally stimulating activity suits dogs of all ages and breeds.
Rally Instruction
Rally obedience combines precision with handler-dog teamwork through sequential skill stations. Our courses emphasize communication and responsiveness while preparing competitors for AKC Rally trials.
Family Manners Training
This program addresses everyday behavioral challenges through practical training solutions. Focus areas include house manners, polite greetings, and community socialization. Designed for pet owners seeking well-adjusted companion dogs.

I have tried to reach out to this place multiple times to get started with classes. I have emailed and called and no response. I understand taking a few days to respond. But over a month is very ridiculous. Terrible customer service and will inquire elsewhere.

I have tried instructors, classes and dog training clubs all over Rockland County and North Bergen County for the over 25 years I have owned dogs here. PCOTC has the largest variety of courses with instructors who are actively involved in their discipline. I have not yet experienced any course where instructors were teaching by rote, and some who have helped motivate me to get to a level of competition I would never have imagined.

I have been training at PCOTC for several years now and have really enjoyed my experience there. The trainers I have worked with in agility are extremely knowledgeable and have really helped me build my connection and relationship with my dog. I'm grateful for a great local club that allows me to continue to grow in the sport, and for the opportunity I've had to work with different styles of trainers. I also have really enjoyed the half-day seminars there! Definitely check out this club!

I have been taking my dog to PTOTC since he was a puppy. The have been wonderful! My dog is shy and they have been very helpful in making him comfortable in class and raising his confidence level. The instructors are great and the classes are a lot of fun. Training my dog at PTOTC has really enhanced my life and my pups!
