Phantom Kennels

We are the proud owners of Phantom Kennels, a family-operated business with 50 years of continuous operation in the bird dog industry. Our team is led by Dan and Glenda Hendrickson, who have built our reputation on ethical breeding and proven training methods for generations. As of August 2023, Dan retired from professional training, with his son Cole Hendrickson stepping in to lead our training programs. Cole has spent 5 years working directly alongside Dan, mastering the same trusted training techniques our customers have relied on for decades. We specialize exclusively in breeding and training high-quality English Pointers, recognized as some of the best bird dogs in the world. Our breeding program only uses field-tested, proven wild bird dogs to ensure every litter produces strong, capable hunting companions. We breed exclusively to field champions and dogs with demonstrated potential to earn field champion titles, including our own award-winning stock.

Most of our foundation female dogs are direct descendants of champion bloodlines, a detail we prioritize to maintain consistent quality across generations. We operate as a full-service one-stop shop for all bird dog needs, offering puppies, started dogs, finished dogs, matrons, and stud services. Our training offerings include specialized retriever training, gun dog training, and regular bird dog training seminars for handlers of all experience levels. We are committed to full transparency with our customers, providing detailed pedigree information and support for every dog we place. Our success is rooted in our dedication to client satisfaction, and we stand behind every dog and training service we provide.
