Im Suzanne Golter, and when I started Happy Hound Play & Daycare, I knew one thing for sure: I wanted this to be a FUN place for dogs. I wanted every tail wagging, every dog tugging at the leash to come in, and every owner feeling really good about leaving their dog here. For those reasons, I designed our facility with the dogs' safety, comfort, and well being as our highest priorities.From our years of experience caring for dogs, we know that they greatly prefer natural sunlight, access to the indoors and outdoors all day, natural air flow, and cage-free play.

Walk into our spacious, environmentally-green facility in Oakland, and you (and your dog) will immediately sense what makes Happy Hound different. You'll see dogs having a great time in their cage-free environment, playing and socializing with their other pals, having a safe, fun, stimulating day. Some will be playing in the adjacent backyard.
