We founded Grande Paws Pawkerchiefs in the summer of 1992 after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Castleton State College. Our inspiration came from creating custom scarves for our first dog, Cayenne, using leftover quilting cottons. We launched Pawkerchiefs at the Rutland County Farmers Market, offering handmade bandanas for dogs and cats. Over the years we have refined our product to include five sizes and reversible designs that provide two looks in one. We source only the highestquality cottons and cut and sew each piece by hand in our studio. Our team possesses specialized skills in textile selection, pattern making, and meticulous stitching honed through decades of practice.
