We established our hospital in December of 2005 with the goal of providing medical, surgical and dental care with individual attention and compassion for you and your companions. Our patients include dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs and chinchillas. We invite you to get to know us and our philosophy. Dr. Ann Barksdale graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1981. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992. Dr. Ann worked as a veterinarian and practice owner in Minnesota for several years prior to moving back to Maine.
