Dr. Adams grew up in a suburb of Washington DC, across the street from an Animal Hospital. He graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Before relocating to New Port Richey in 2005, Dr. Adams practiced for several years in a bustling animal hospital in Silver Spring Maryland.

Dental care is vital to the overall health of any animal. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

Procedures done on dogs and cats are challenging for a variety of reasons, one being that they often don't want to be still while doctors and staff are trying to help the animal. They also have a level of stress that comes from being in a an unfamiliar environment. Because of this, the use of anesthesia is a beneficial way to give pets the care they need.
