Blue Prints is the original doggie daycare and positive reinforcement center of Central New York and the Syracuse area. Founded in 2000, Blue Prints was inspired by the training philosophy of expert trainers and animal behaviorists such as Dr. Ian Dunbar and Dr. Jean Donaldson. Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of positive reinforcement and proper socialization to shape the behavior of your dog.

Jim and Jackie are lifelong members of the community and have remained committed to their family and their careers. Jim brings a diverse business and management background to Blue Prints and believes in a customer-first, family business model. For 12 years, Jim successfully ran a landscaping business before transitioning into higher education grounds management.

Our daycare focuses on safe, monitored and structured socialization as an important part of our positive reinforcement training philosophy. Dogs are social animals and interacting with other dogs and people is an important part of their training and overall well-being. Puppies, in particular, learn more from other puppies and well-trained dogs and our puppy training program includes daycare. Senior dogs require added comfort and care and our staff provides a socially stimulating and safe environment to address their special needs.
