Dr. Kathryn McFadden purchased the practice in 1991. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University in 1990. Dr. McFadden takes tremendous pride and a personal interest in caring for all our clients and patient's needs. Dr. April Mackey began practicing at Towne South Animal Hospital in January of 2012.

K9 Search and Rescue

Dr. McFadden and the staff at Towne South Animal Hospital work closely with the Shreveport Fire Department K9 Search & Rescue Task Force. Our Doctors are the primary Veterinarians for the Search and Rescue dogs and do everything they can to keep them in great health so they can continue to do their jobs so well!
