When you're out of town or away for the day, schedule pet sitting visits between 7am and 10pm. We visit once or twice a day for cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, turtles, etc. We visit dogs three or more times daily. See pet sitting prices. Give your little one some play time while you're away from home or at work. For pups 12 months and younger, choose a puppy break of 10, 15 or 20 minutes, once or a few times a day.They'll be dog tired when we leave. See puppy care prices. You found us! It's just the right thing to do. Alexandria Pet Care charges $0 consultation fee when your pet care team first meets you before pet sitting or dog walking services. That's a $75 value - so you can meet your team and be sure we're a great fit for your pets. No strings attached. Additional zoom or in-person meetings are $30, and to introduce our team to your pet(s) we can do a comfort visit or trial (practice) visit at the daily services prices below.Send us with your pet to their vet or groomer appointment.

We've been serving family pets for 17 years. All our employees have two years or more prior professional experience in animal hospitals, shelters, doggie day care, wildlife rehab, or animal control. We've seen it all. We hire permanent employees - never contractors or seasonal help - who are focused on consistent quality care.

Our five small neighborhood teams serve Alexandria City and outside the beltway from Huntington to Mount Vernon. We work in small neighborhood-based teams of three, so every client will meet their team of caregivers and know personally who's visiting their home. We would want to meet who's coming into our home, after all.
