Arapahoe Animal Hospital - for small animals, birds, and exotics - was founded in 1954 and originally located a few blocks west of our present Main Hospital location. In 1969, our hospital moved to its current Main Hospital address at 5585 Arapahoe Ave. in Boulder - and our innovatively-designed building was then surrounded by green open fields! Our Main Hospital (and surrounding neighborhood) grew steadily over the years.

Arapahoe Animal Hospital was founded in Boulder in 1954, and in 1969 moved to the innovatively-designed building we occupy today at 5585 Arapahoe Ave. Our Main Hospital stands on one full acre of its own land, with one-third acre of tree-shaded play and exercise yards dedicated to our premier Doggie Day Care program (and enjoyed by our Boarding "guests").
