Camp Good Puppy

We are an outdoor/indoor daycare and boarding facility on 5 acres in east Vancouver. Our property is perimeter fenced and cross-fenced so that dogs may play and run off lead. Our Barn is a 2400 sq ft pole building that is fully insulated and climate controlled ( heat and A/C). Dogs mostly just eat and sleep in the barn but we also use it for play during very cold/wet and very hot days. We also have a 1200 sq ft covered out door play pavilion that allows us to have the dogs out during rainy days while minimizing the mud.

Our gates close promptly at 8:30 am so we have time to take all dogs out for one more walk before breakfast. Around 9:00 am, we head into the barn and dogs are put into kennels for breakfast. The morning nap is about 2 hours, so around 11:30 am we are getting the dogs up and back outside. We are again forming playgroups and taking the dogs for walks through the fields.

At Camp Good Puppy we believe it is important to have balance to keep dogs mentally and physically stimulated through out the day. Our unique dog daycare program provides your dog with a fun-filled day without over-exertion. Our blend of alternating playtime and rest time promotes positive behavior and reduces stress.

All dogs must pass the Behavioral Assessment and attend 3-5 days of daycare prior to being accepted for overnight boarding. We have found that when dogs are familiar with their environment and the routine it greatly reduces the stress of being away from family and home. Our boarding dogs follow the same daytime routine as the daycare and both groups interact together. Each guest has his or her own kennel to eat and sleep in. We feed your food and administer any medications according to your instruction.
