We are a St. Louis veterinary clinic conveniently located near the Delmar Loop and only minutes from the Central West End, Maplewood, Dogtown, The Hill, Clayton, Richmond Heights, Webster Groves, and easily accessible to surrounding areas. Kingsbury Animal Hospital has been providing sensitive, quality medical care for companion animals since 1978.

Our practice is a friendly workplace encouraging personal and professional growth with understanding and respect for the individual differences of coworkers, clients and the animals placed in our care.

Kingsbury Animal Hospital was established in 1978 when Dr. Steve Brammeier turned an abandoned Shell service station into his companion animal practice. Since then the doctors and staff of Kingsbury have provided veterinary and grooming services to the pets of the city of St. Louis and surrounding communities.

Our Doctors

He earned his BS in elementary education and a masters in Elementary Administration at Southwest Missouri State University. You may be surprised to find out that he taught 6th grade in Springfield, Missouri for four years prior to veterinary school. In 2014, he bought the practice from Dr. Brammeier.

Our Staff

Report

He was an In Flight Supervisor for Trans World Airlines for many years before leaving in 1997. He then started a new career in veterinary care. He worked as both a technician and Practice Manager before joining Kingsbury in 2002. He lives in the Central West End and enjoys spending time with family.
