Dr. Hargrove was raised in Colorado, initially on a dairy farm, but then he grew up as a city kid surrounded by animals.

Here in Duluth, and across the country, animal emergency hospitals are being overwhelmed with demand. Locally, current wait times can range from three to five hours and in some circumstances, the ER may become unavailable for care during certain periods. In order to assure the ER remains available for serious emergencies, we all have to work together to reconsider the role the ER plays in the care of our animal companions. There are many conditions that can be worrisome for our pets to experience (diarrhea, ear/skin infections, limping, etc.).
