Pets To Go opened its doors in Sacramento in 1986. The store has grown over the years, and in 1996 moved a few miles down the road to Elk Grove, California. If you are interested in the world of reptiles the Sacramento Reptile Show is an amazing way to become part of the reptile community. When you enter the doors of Pets To Go, you will most likely be greeted by one of our furry companions walking around the store.

That's right: Jeremy and Angel have SIXTEEN pets, including dogs, cats, tortoises, rates, a rabbit leopard gecko, snakes and a tarantula! Can we just say Jeremy had the sweetest answers when asked what's the best part of working at Pets To Go?

Many dog foods on the market contain by-product based meats (beaks, feet, etc) and low quality grains such as corn and wheat. While some dogs may tolerate foods with less than stellar ingredients, many dogs have allergies to these low-end ingredients. If your pup licks his feet or belly, or his coat is dull and flaky, then you might consider trying a new dog food.

While all cat food sold at Pets To Go is free of by-products, corn, wheat and soy, some cats need the extra edge of cat food that contains no grain. If you have tried numerous grain based cat foods, and still have not found a cat food that agrees with your pet, it may be time to go grain free.
