Tamroc Kennels: Pet Boarding Excellence in Myrtle Beach
At Tamroc Kennels, we have dedicated ourselves to providing a loving, safe, and comfortable home away from home for pets since 1983. Founded by Jim and Lib Click, our family-owned business was built on the vision of creating a kennel where we would feel confident leaving our own animals. Over four decades, weve perfected our approach, offering private kennels with indoor-outdoor runs, personalized playtime, and specialized care for pets with unique needs. Our team of experienced caretakers is deeply committed to the well-being of every guest, ensuring they receive individualized attention throughout their stay. In 1987, we expanded to include a veterinary clinic operated by Dr. Mary Matthes-Guilbeau and her daughter Dr. Jade Elizabeth Guilbeau, further enhancing our ability to provide comprehensive care. After the passing of our founders, the business continues under the stewardship of Jim Click, Jr., Elizabeth Click Krivatsy, and long-time manager Jennifer Hammond, maintaining the same high standards and family tradition of excellence. We pride ourselves on transparency, clear communication, and strict health protocols, including required vaccinations and regular monitoring. Our facility remains spotless and welcoming, with dedicated spaces for cats and special accommodations for elderly or medically needy pets. The trust our clients place in us fuels our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement while staying true to our original mission. Whether its our three-story catios or nightly turn-down service, every detail reflects our passion for animal care and our dedication to giving pets the best possible boarding experience.

Excellent facility for a long weekend stay for my beautiful Pitbull Cali. Tamroc is an excellent full service kennel, and they are serious pitbull lovers. I checked my girl in and out for beach time with zero problems. Cali was very calm every time I picked her up and content to go back for the night. Thank you Tamroc staff. Y'all are my go-to kennel in Myrtle

Fantastic boarding experience for all our fur babies and us, their humans. We have four dogs - all older and very set in their ways. Two of the dogs are large dogs. Another one, our oldest dog is 13, blind, and insulin dependent. Tamroc does a great job taking care of our pups. Reasonable fees. Very pleased with our experiences at Tamroc.
