Long-time members of the Myrtle Beach Kennel Club, and active in breeding and showing Rottweilers and Silky Terriers, they envisioned creating the kind of kennel where they'd be comfortable leaving their own dogs. Lib designed and built the facility, and Jim designed all of the operating processes and procedures, most of which we continue to use every day.In 1987, Lib and Jim invited their niece, Dr. Mary Matthes-Guilbeau, to set up her veterinary clinic at Tamroc Kennels. Dr. Mary has been practicing at this location for 28 years.

We offer a warm, loving Home Away From Home for your dogs, featuring private kennels with indoor-outdoor runs, private "playtime" in fenced lawn area, and turn-down service at night - everything but the chocolate mint. A separate cat-condo room ensures quiet, calm lodging for your cats. We've been providing TLC to our guests since 1983.

In addition to our boarding and grooming services, Tamroc is happy to host veterinary care on-site with Dr. Mary Matthes-Guilbeau and Dr. Jade Elizabeth Guilbeau. Dr. Mary earned her B.S. in Biochemistry and her D.V.M. from Mississippi State University. After graduating, she returned to Myrtle Beach to establish a mixed animal practice, with the help of her aunt and uncle, Lib and Jim Click.
