Your one stop pet service location in Elgin. We understand the stress that dogs and cats go through. Each animal will be allowed as much time as needed to make it enjoy the grooming appointment. Unlike other dog grooming shops, we do offer water and potty breaks during the service appointment. We do not crate your pet away, it will be part of the family.

Groom and Play
Report
We offer early drop off (after 7am) and evening pick up (before 6pm), on certain days, to groom your dog and then we keep your best friend for rest of the day. Your dog will get groomed first thing in the morning and the rest of the day we'll walk the back yard or play in the agility area like we do with the other boarders.
Boarding

Not at all a boarding facility like the others. Many kennels are designed to impress the owners, ours is catering to the senses and needs of your dog. Our motto is: "A tired dog is a happy dog!" Your dog will not be caged away. When the resident dogs go out, your dog goes too. When the resident dogs get a treat, yours do as well.
Day Care

Some pups love to chase each other around and topple on each other, slobbering and drooling all over the place. Believe it or not there are a lot of dogs that are grossed out by that and do not enjoy crazy group play at all. Is your dog one of the them? Did daycare not work out for your best buddy, but you still would like him to have a fun day while you are at work or take the family on day trip?

Since before Doggy Has It was started, Anja has been an advocate for misplaced, homeless and senior dogs. Over 4 million dogs die in shelters in the United States due to overcrowding. These are not second class dogs, on the contrary they are wiser and appreciate a warm bed like no other. In 2019 Anja registered here own non for profit rescue called Doggy Has Soul Sanctuary.
