We address common issues including house training, chewing, and nipping while introducing positive socialization experiences that shape lifelong behavior patterns.
Basic Training
Designed for adolescent dogs aged 5 months to adulthood, this program improves communication through essential commands. Dogs learn controlled leash walking, reliable recall, and proper object interaction. We address common challenges like jumping, excessive barking, and door bolting while building a foundation for advanced training through consistent reinforcement techniques.

From shake and spin to roll over and hoop jumping, our trick training builds confidence and strengthens the human-animal bond. Classes can be taken individually or as a comprehensive package for maximum skill development.

Before we trained with Kim our dog growled at anyone who came near. After five sessions he wags his tail. Kim is very professional and delivered the results as promised. Anybody looking to correct behavioral issues with their pooch should give her a call!

We contracted Positive Paws for four in home sessions with our shelter pup Theo. Theo was about 10 weeks old when we started and was actually took well to training before Positive Paws. Where their services helped were to fine tune and make sure we properly targeted our training. Sue was our trainer and I say "our" trainer because while she did help with Theo's progress, we felt we had the knowledge and tools to continue. Theo is very well behaved and the training certainly helped. I certainly recommend their services.
