Pet Adoption Programs
Our adoption programs connect homeless animals with permanent homes through comprehensive matching processes. We feature adoptable pets online with personality profiles to help families find compatible companions. Adoption packages include spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping. Our staff provides post-adoption support for successful transitions into new homes.
Community Cat TNR
The Trap-Neuter-Return program manages feral cat populations humanely. We provide spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and ear-tipping for identification. The program includes trap rentals, post-surgery care, and colony management guidance for community cat caretakers. Services are available by appointment on designated days.
Pet Food Pantry
This program helps families maintain pet ownership during financial hardship. We distribute donated pet food at our shelter and through mobile distributions. The pantry also offers essential supplies like leashes, collars, and bedding. Mobile units serve communities from Parachute to Carbondale quarterly.
Lost and Found Services
Our comprehensive lost pet resources include microchip verification, lost pet reports, and social media outreach. We collaborate with local law enforcement and veterinary clinics to reunite lost animals with owners. The program maintains detailed records and provides recovery guidance through our website and hotline.
Medical Assistance
We provide microchipping services, spay/neuter vouchers, and low-cost vaccine clinics. The program connects pet owners with financial assistance resources for veterinary care through medical cost assistance programs and healthcare financing options. Bi-annual clinics offer accessible preventive care services.

Everyone is always so helpful and nice. We visit monthly to pet the cats, walk dogs and drop off donations. It's very clean, bright and the animals are treated very well.
