Shaving a dog down to the skin has little merit. It places the animal at risk of scratches and irritation when out of doors as it does not allow the natural coat to protect it from lawn chemicals and insects. It may also damage the coat as it may not allow it to grow back normally and it removes the natural insulation the dog has from the Florida heat.

We know every dog is special and unique therefore we take extra time with each animal to ensure they are well cared for while at the Spa. Different breeds take specific amounts of time to properly hand dry and groom. Please feel free to ask for a time estimate when bringing your pooch to the Spa. To ensure you are able to have the time you prefer, we recommend booking your appointment at least a week or two in advance.
