Hi, I'm Dawn Hoover and A Pet's Best Friend is my passion. I'm a native San Franciscan who lives in Foster City. I've loved animals since I was a child. I've volunteered at the Peninsula Humane Society, Pets in Need, and Homeless Cat Network. When the opportunity to buy A Pet's Best Friend presented itself, I immediately knew the stars were aligned perfectly.
How We Work

No one knows your pet better than you -so we take our cues from you. Tell us what your furry friend needs, and we'll take care of it in your absence -all in the comfort of your own home. From brisk walks to cuddling up for a relaxing brushing, we're there for your pet. Younger pets often need exercise -for these rambunctious rascals, we're happy to go on long walks, toss a ball, or rough house in the yard. For more mellow fellows, we'll take a slow walk around the block or cuddle up for a petting session.

Dawn and her staff have been a wonderful resource. They are caring, reliable and responsive, especially to Baby's (she's a senior) special needs. We particularly like Dawn's daily report card summarizing what she and Baby did together. We highly recommend 'A Pet's Best Friend'. Dawn has known Polo since he was about a year old.
