Spay/Neuter Services
Low-cost spay/neuter surgeries help control pet overpopulation in our communities. Our clinic offers appointments for cats and dogs with experienced veterinary staff. These procedures improve animal health and reduce shelter intake rates through responsible pet ownership promotion.
Animal Control
We provide contracted animal control services for six Southwest Riverside County cities. Our certified officers handle stray animal capture, bite investigations, and nuisance complaints while prioritizing animal welfare and public safety through humane enforcement practices.
Microchipping
Permanent pet identification through microchipping increases lost pet recovery rates. Our technicians implant rice-sized chips under skin tissue for cats and dogs, which can be scanned at any veterinary clinic or shelter to access owner contact information.

This cute little furry friend was adopted by us this morning! He will come home tomorrow after he is checked and cleared by the vet. We are so excited to add this adorable bunny to our family Thank you to AFV--your staff is wonderful! You made the pet adoption process so easy!

Adopted the sweetest German shepherd from animal friends of the valleys. The people were friendly and you can tell how much love and affection they put into these animals. The day before I could bring her home, she developed parvo. I was so worried for her, and called almost every day for the two weeks she was under their care (sorry about that! ) But she pulled through and we were able to bring her home! Picking her up, the vet answered all my questions and loved our puppy just as much as I did. I'm so glad she was in such good hands throughout it all.

Three weeks ago I was not in town. My sister had surgery and couldn't take care of my dog. She took it to this shelter. I went the next day to pick him up. He was there with his collar with "Benji" on it. I filled out a firm and was told a lady brought him in and she would have to come for him. I waited while my sister arrived. She didn't have proof of his shots. We called the veterinarian on line.

The doctor was going to sent proof of what they wanted. Some woman supervising wouldn't speak with the vet. We left our name and number and had to wait 2 days. They sold our puppy and never bothered to call us. Good luck getting a pet especially if she doesn't like you.

One of the best organized shelters I've ever seen. Called this morning to ask about signing up for volunteering, and was told that everything was online. Went to the website, and was thoroughly impressed by the organization of the volunteer events. Super easy to sign up and get registered, went to the shelter to purchase the volunteer shirt, and was told that I was missing a couple things on my registration. They helped me get everything I needed in just a few minutes, and we were out the door in less than half an hour. The facilities were well kept and organized, and I can't wait to start volunteering!

We've adopted two wonderful pups from this shelter. It is HANDS DOWN the nicest shelter in a 30 mile radius. The people are WONDERFUL and the animals there are very clearly taken care of very well. The facility is new(er) so the rooms are real nice, as well as the entire facility itself. We've been so happy with our rescue pups. I tell every single person I know who is looking for a wonderful animal to go there. It is worth the drive (we live in Fallbrook)! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to adopt as well as relinquish a pup.
