Dr. Kerwin realized early on in life that his passions for medicine and working with animals could combine for a career as a veterinarian. After graduating from Duke University and Tuft's School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Kerwin earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and began practicing in South Carolina. Shortly after learning the ropes in general practice, he established The Animal Medical Clinic of Goose Creek. Not only has Dr. Kerwin dedicated his life to caring for animals, but he has also actively participated in both veterinary and community organizations.

Since the young age of 5 years old, Dr. Mary Andrews knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up on a small farm in Anderson, SC with cows and goats, she realized her goal in life was to care for animals. When she wasn't on the farm or at school, she could be found at the barn riding horses. She graduated from the College of Charleston and went on to Mississippi State University (Go Bulldogs!) for veterinary school.

We are very proud to announce that Animal Medical Clinic has created a charitable fund to offer grants to clients who need financial assistance to provide life saving care for their pet. All too often, even the best pet owners can find themselves financially unprepared to do what is needed to save their pet, and facing a heart wrenching decision if they can't afford treatment. Of course, as veterinarians, we love animals first and foremost and don't want any family to have to make that terrible decision.
