Report
Here at Sierra Animal Hospital we will see and treat dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds and exotics - pretty much anything that will fit through the front door! Please keep in mind, however, that there are times when we may not be able to see certain types of animals because of the area of specialty for the veterinarian on duty.
Boarding
Report
At Sierra Animal Hospital we provide a safe and comfortable environment for boarding all sizes of dogs. Each dog has its own kennel space and a constant fresh supply of water. Your dog can be fed its own food, or kennel food, on its regular schedule at no extra cost. Four times a day your dog will be walked on a leash on its own providing socialization and direct human contact.
Dental Cleaning
Report
In an ideal world, pets - like humans - would have their teeth brushed twice a day. Unfortunately we do not live in an ideal world. Pets still need regular dental cleanings. At Sierra Animal Hospital we recommend that older animals and animals with bad teeth have dental cleanings at least once a year, sometimes every 6 months.
Declawing & Dewclaw Removal
Report
Despite the best efforts of the owner a cat can still be an extremely destructive animal to home furnishings and can also inflict significant injury to humans and other animals. Declawing, where the claws are removed surgically from either the two front paws or all four, is a relatively straight forward way to make a destructive cat adoptable.
