Services
Wellness Exams
Regular wellness exams help detect health issues early through comprehensive physical evaluations. Our veterinarians assess organ systems, discuss behavior and nutrition, and recommend vaccinations or lab tests. Tailored to each life stage, these exams ensure preventive care for puppies, adult pets, and seniors.
Veterinary Surgery
We perform routine and advanced surgical procedures with a focus on safety and pain management. Services include spays/neuters, mass removals, and soft tissue surgeries. Pre-anesthetic bloodwork and IV fluid support ensure patient stability during procedures.
Dental Care
Dental cleanings and oral health assessments prevent systemic diseases. Full-mouth radiographs identify hidden issues while scaling and polishing remove plaque. We treat periodontal disease and provide home care guidance to maintain oral health.
Senior Pet Care
Specialized care for aging pets includes bi-annual exams and tailored wellness plans. We monitor for arthritis, kidney disease, and other age-related conditions. Pain management and dietary adjustments help maintain quality of life for senior animals.
Emergency Care
Emergency services address acute injuries and illnesses during operating hours. Our team stabilizes critical patients with diagnostics and immediate interventions. For after-hours emergencies, we refer to a trusted local urgent care facility.

My interactions with multiple techs and two different doctors have been beyond my expectations. The time the KAH staff give to discuss findings, prescribe treatment, and discuss a follow-up plan amazes me. And they are impressively skilled active listeners. I highly recommend for thoughtful, careful assessments and treatment plans for health issues going on with your pets.

My first visit went great! I needed a vet close to my home and this went very well. Everyone was extremely nice. The vet tech seemed interested in my cat and was very gentle in holding her. I was pleased with the vet and the great attention she gave Bailey. Thanks so much!

I am so thankful I was able to bring my dog Nikko to this facility. The nurse and doctor were so professional and helped me figure out what was wrong with my pup. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to accommodate me and gave my dog and I the attention and urgency I felt we needed. Upon picking my dog up he was already in better shape, one day after his medicine regiment he was back to his usual rambunctious and rowdy self. Thank you so much to the Knightdale Animal Hospital Team for saving my dog!
