Training experience was 100% positive. Straight to the point not trying to sell you a fluff of training corses, ask them for what you want your dog to do or how you want them to behave and it happens. A person below noted a plastic spike collar used to train dogs, all dog trainers I spoke to prior to finding woofbeach in area use a metal prong collar for training most of the time. Bottom line great people and easy to work with. 11 month golden doodle trained perfectly to behave in any setting. Thanks Woofbeach

If you are looking to make an informed decision on where to get your dog trained, do not listen to the employees at Woof Beach. DON'T TRUST WOOF BEACH! We took our dog for training and asked several times what their training techniques were like. They avoided giving details about their training to the point of deception. We trusted Woof Beach, but after 5 weeks of training we went for our private consultation, we finally learned that they were using a spiked choke collar on our dog which we had no idea was being used.

I think they care more about selling the training than they do about letting customers make an informed decision. My wife and I feel that Woof Beach deceived us and took our money. I will never trust them and will never take our dog there for any reason. Added photos so anyone reading this review can make an INFORMED decision about their dog's training

We did basic training with Woofbeach and we're very pleased! The trainers were so professional and nice and our dog Ziggy responded so well to their training techniques. We are currently in advanced training with Jim and he is our favorite! He knows how to teach us how to train our dog which is a little difficult sometimes. We are actually taking our new puppy to Woofbeach (and Jim) because we are so pleased. I would highly recommend Woofbeach to anyone who wants to be able to take the training that they taught the dogs, to be able to do it themselves!

Have been coming to Woofbeach for the past 8 years. One time they didn't have the clippers charged and totally messed up my dogs nails because they manually clipped them. They were jagged and bloody. But because it was a one off kind of thing, I came back. Today I was running 15 minutes late and was made to wait another 5 minutes when a groomer came up and said that Chrissy would not see me today because I was late.

They have a 15 minute policy. And since I was made to wait 5 minutes, it was now 20 minutes late. I asked to talk to Chrissy and was told that she was still bathing another dog and couldn't talk to me. So if I was made to wait and the scheduled groomer was in back bathing a dog at that time, why did she cancel my appointment? I find this very unprofessional! I will NEVER return to this place!

I am so pleased I brought my four month old male golden retriever here! He's 14 months now and I have since referred two additional families here whom are just as happy as I am. The amount of compliments I get on my dog are truly remarkable. Alek, Taylor and the whole grooming squad are worth every penny invested. I can't thank them enough or spread the word enough. Stop looking elsewhere and bring your pup here now.

Great place. The moment I waked in, they remembered my Daisy and asked if I wanted a nail trim. Yup. That's what I wanted. Done and done. Great people and great customer service.

Highly recm'd Woofbeach, Batavia. I have a 90 pound, double coated boarder collie and Crissy did a wonderful job of getting all that old undercoat out, More importantly, Hank, (the dog) is very fearful & Crissy listened to our concerns and Hank came home calm and happy, which has not happened before with grooming. Thank you Crissy - will done!

I'm so lucky to have found this spot since we just moved. Our dogs are like our children, so I was very apprehensive to take them somewhere new. Ryan made the whole transition seamless! Our dogs get groomed and their nails done at this location. Ryan is patient, accommodating since my one dog is not dog friendly, and has great communication. I highly recommend Woof Beach to anyone looking for a great grooming or nail trim!

Self service dog wash - never clean, $10 for 10 minutes which means we're in a rush. I can't get my boy clean, dry and sanitize the tub that quickly. The last time I went I spent $20 to give him a good bath and they were out of shampoo! I had to resort to using conditioner as they were closed. I recommend using the self-service dog wash at pet supplies plus. It's the same price for unlimited time, a choice of different shampoos, towels and an apron.

They even offer 5 washes for $25! Actual grooming - we took him here about 2 years ago for an annual groom. They did amazing; took care of his shedding, shampooed and conditioned him. He didn't shed for a whole month (says a lot about a husky!) So, once shedding season rolled around we decided to take him again. Once I got there to drop him off they told me it'd be an extra $15 to condition him and brush his teeth. What? Shouldn't that be included in a $60 grooming visit? When I got him back, he was still shedding and he wasn't even soft! I will not be taking him back here.

We were so happy with the results from the first dog we sent to Woofbeach, that when we got another one, there was no doubt that he would go too. This time we are going to the new Aurora location, which looks like it's going to be amazing. I have had the most dealing with the trainer, Kate. Our family calls her "Kate the Great". She has not only been an incredible trainer (who our dog LOVES) but has also made us feel like family. I cannot recommend Woofbeach enough and I promise you will be happy with the results.

This review is for the self-wash I do like that they're 24/7 and the machine takes cash and card. The floor was covered with fur but it was on a Sunday so it's possible no one was there that day to clean. The tub was ok, warm water. The panel to keep the doggie in isnt that high so our Aussie shep almost jumped out and hung herself (the small lead in the tub was connected to her collar) and my dad had to catch her and get her back in.

I do like that it comes with shampoo, flea shampoo, and conditioner options. Though none of them felt very moisturizing. Her fur was quite dry and rough feeling even after brushing. When it came time to dry the low-blow option wasn't working, which wasn't great considering my dog doesn't like the dryer and we have to use the low setting.

She wasn't happy with the high-blow dryer. I do like how they have a de-sanitizing button at the end to clean the tub. I would prefer better shampoo/conditioner, but in a pinch it's great. Especially after a muddy trip to the Batavia bark park beach.

Woofbeach is the best! I followed Ryan over from a previous place and wouldn't want anyone else grooming my baby. I have a very sensitive and scared Bichon who doesn't like to be groomed. As soon as she sees Ryan, she's fine. He is so gentle and kind with her. Everyone I've encountered at Woofbeach has been nice and helpful. It's amazing to walk in and see over 30 dogs sitting on cots, and following the training that they were given for the day. Great place! I highly recommend them.

Success! Niko, our German Shepherd, was brought to Woof Beach because he was so reactive on the leash. Walks were scary and to take him anywhere was always such a challenge. Once we started basic, on leash training, I noticed very favorable behaviors. Those behaviors increased and more surfaced, once we were trained, as well. We just returned from a very fun vacation with Niko.

He was awesome. We were able to take him to restaurants and use his down/stay. At the hotel, he was fine when he encountered other dogs. As we stopped to view things, we used the sit/stay successfully as well. My only regret is I didn't do this with my previous Shepherds. His personality is the same. The only difference is that he is now managed. Can't wait for our next vacation. Meanwhile he is constantly going to his leash--he wants to go!

We are still in training but Pema is like a new dog already! We have seen so much progress with her. We started with Zach and are now training with Kate both of have been wonderful and so informative and patient with us. They also offer daycare for dogs who go through their training program which has been a lifesaver for us!

Very disappointed. My family has been taking our dogs to woofbeach for years and spent thousands of dollars with this company. This week when we took one of our dogs, a small Yorkie mix for groom and he was brutally attacked in the neck by a pitbull who was being trained on a cot. BEWARE I have recommend Woofbeach to many friends and will never do so again. Still unsure of how our dog will recover.

Woofbeach Rocks! Our year and half old Viszla Charlie just went through 4 weeks of training. He went from crazy man to very well mannered! He now listens the first time. He is so well behaved now that when I took him to the vet, they said" He is such a different dog". I put him on the scale as his "place" dropped the lease and he stayed there while I checked out even when there were other dogs.

This would have never happened before the training. It was amazing! He stopped pulling on his lease and stopped barking up a storm in the Vet's lobby. The trainers at Woodbeach are awesome and truly care about Charlie. The customer service is outstanding! My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend this place to all dog owners! It is worth every $!.

I have taken 4 dogs to Woofbeach for nail trims. The people working there showed their love for dogs. All the dogs had their nails trimmed quickly and they looked like they were enjoying a spa like experience. At least one of the dogs was kissing Emily as she trimmed her nails.

You can tell they are Dog lovers! My giant Saint Bernard always looks fantastic when she is done with her beauty parlor day.

My sweet little puppy had never been to a groomer that she didn't know before, but was in desperate need for a cut, so WoofBeach and Nicole to the rescue! She was happy to go in the store (she's normally nervous in new places/people) but she took to Nicole right away and when I picked her up an hour later she was happy as could be, smelling sweet, short nails and a pretty new hair do! Happy to have found it so close to home!

The staff here is amazing. I bring my Pug and Aussie to have them groomed every couple months. All the employees go out of their way to make my dogs feel at ease. The trainers do an amazing job with the dogs as I love to stand back and just watch them work their wonders. You can truly see that everyone that works here loves what they do. The pricing is very reasonable and I would never go anywhere else.

Had a great experience here with their groomer. I have two miniature poodles who are often difficult to groom. They did a great job on both of them. Much better than at Petsmart and Petco, and much faster.

My dog goes to Woof Beach for training and grooming. We are currently in the middle of a 4 week training session and I am very enthused about what he is learning and excited to be able to put the training to work once he is finished. Austin and Eric are THE BEST. Their love for dogs shines through in everything they do. My dog was sick recently and I kept him home from school (LOL!) - Eric called me to check to see how he was doing the next day. So thoughtful! His grooming was excellent as well. Not perfumey smelling like other places we have been. I HIGHLY recommend Woof Beach!

What a wonderful grooming salon for pets! My Cairn Terrier who did not want to go in the door.didn't want to leave! She looks great even after a month she is so darn cute! Christina really knows her trade as Cairns are one of the most difficult dogs to "keep looking like a Cairn" instead of a Westie or other. The whole family seems involved in the business and it couldn't be cleaner or more welcoming. We will be back!
