Arcola Animal Health Care Center is a full service small animal hospital located in central Illinois. To our veterinary team, it's much more than just having a dog or cat. Our mission statement says it all: "We will strive to treat every client like family and every pet like our own!" We are very excited to offer you a better, gentler approach to caring for your beloved pet.
FEAR FREE PETS is a national trend that focuses on your pet's well being, as well as yours. We understand that visits to the vet clinic can be stressful and scary.

About AHCC
Report
The Animal Health Care Center was originally built by Dr. Lorna Lanman as a satellite clinic to her main hospital in Charleston, Illinois. It was only open for appointments 8 hours per week. The entire north half of the building was one big room mainly used for storage. This was immediately enclosed and is now the "hospital kennel ward".

Because of the shorter lifespan of pets versus humans, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best. Spay/Neuter: provides many health benefits for your pet as well as helping to prevent shelter over-crowding and homeless pets by providing population control.
Meet Our Staff
Report
Warden is an independent excitement. He loves to rub up against your legs to let you know that he is around. Warden loves to be outside so don't worry if you see him in our parking lot. He does not mind any of our hospital visitors, in fact, he usually just sits and stares as the huge great danes we see, sniff and pull to get closer to him.

Ask your staff to show you the educational props on dental care, flea control, and heartworm control (some of them are really cool!) Exam room 1. Notice the Canine Companion poster that Dr. Kim had a great hand in helping for many years. Exam room 3 also serves as Dr. Kim's office. We have adapted this room with a table for those small patients.
