Pet Boarding
Our boarding services provide a safe, supervised environment for pets when owners travel. Each animal receives individual attention from veterinary staff with immediate access to medical care if needed. The facility includes large outdoor walking areas and accommodates special dietary needs with Science Diet feeding options.
Laser Therapy
Therapeutic laser treatments stimulate tissue repair and reduce inflammation without drugs or sedation. This non-invasive option helps manage chronic pain from arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and other conditions by enhancing cellular function and circulation for faster healing.
Wellness Exams
Biannual comprehensive physical exams detect early signs of disease in pets. Veterinarians assess all body systems, discuss nutrition and parasite prevention, and create vaccination schedules tailored to each pet's lifestyle and risk factors for optimal long-term health.
Senior Pet Care
Specialized monitoring plans address age-related conditions like diabetes and arthritis in pets over seven years old. Regular diagnostic screening combined with lifestyle adjustments help maintain quality of life and extend healthy years through early intervention strategies.
Therapeutic Massage
Certified massage therapy improves mobility and comfort through targeted soft tissue manipulation. This holistic treatment benefits dogs of all ages by enhancing circulation, reducing muscle tension, and supporting overall wellness as part of an integrated care approach.

Every time I interact with this vet I am disappointed. Their protocols and customer service are literally the worst I have ever experienced. If you have any other option for your vet, I highly recommend you take it.

This place is extremely expensive, they wanted to charge me over $1600 for blood work, x-rays and a senior cat exam (my cat is four years old not a senior); not to mention the fee for the initial visit is $90 after taxes. I went to summit animal hospital instead because I couldn't afford this place, they did her blood work for free and sent me home with medicine and food for $200, 8 times less than this place charged me! Do not waste your money at this place they only care about profit not your pets.

I've only gone here once for the flu vaccine, but I think I found my vet! I tried PetVets animal hospital for flea and tic shots or something like that and they thought my baby was a monster. They gave her anxiety meds for future visits, said she needs a behaviorist/ psychological help, and that I should never let her be around other dogs. They were unhelpful when I asked about what is the nearest, best emergency room.

It was a really bad, stressful situation for everyone involved. At the Oak Park Animal Hospital they were very kind to my rhodesian ridgeback and she likes them. They are very good at explaining things and answering my questions. They have lots of good information. They have treats! My dog especially likes the guy who is like the physicians assistant or nurse type role.

Would not recommend. I brought my cat here multiple times and each time they gave me a different excuse and antibiotic to give her with no results. they were also very expensive. I brought in a rescue with minimal papers and were very sour to the fact that we didn't have her age. Every time I went in they made me feel like it was my fault she was sick. Never answered our questions either. We brought her to a new vet and they had everything scheduled and sorted in one day.

How much do I love Dr. D. and the crew, let me count the ways. I first started going to OPAH a number of years ago when I adopted and required services for my ferret, Sheridan. They were wonderful with him and provided so much knowledge and support. When it came his time to expire, the personnel handled everything and were all very sad, as he had become a part of their family as well. More recently, I have taken one of my cats and a new acquired Guinea pig to see Doctor D. As always.extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating to all of our needs. Thank you!
