Regular dental care prevents systemic infections and tooth loss while improving pets' quality of life through pain-free eating and fresh breath.
Surgical Procedures
Advanced soft tissue surgeries performed with modern equipment and comprehensive monitoring. Pre-surgical exams ensure patient safety while post-operative care includes pain management and recovery support. Our team handles eye, ear, throat, and lung procedures with specialized expertise, maintaining strict sterility protocols to minimize infection risks during operations.
Diagnostics
On-site laboratory and imaging technologies enable accurate condition assessments. Digital radiology and ultrasound equipment help diagnose internal injuries, organ abnormalities, and chronic diseases. Timely diagnostic results allow immediate treatment planning while our veterinarians interpret findings within 24 hours for urgent cases requiring specialized interventions.

USDA-certified documentation for domestic and international pet travel compliance. We prepare required paperwork meeting destination-specific requirements, including rabies titers for Hawaii and Australia. Our kitty was having issues recovering from dental surgery that Suffern Animal Hospital performed in July 2021. We brought her back in repeatedly since then, as she wasn't able to eat, and we were told her swollen node/hard lump in her neck was "normal." Taking her in for visits seemed futile as she was only getting worse. After switching vets earlier this month, the new vet examined her and saw something alarming in her mouth. After a biopsy, turns out she had cancer in her mouth and had already spread to her jaw. We just said goodbye to her on Wednesday. I feel Suffern Animal Hospital let us down hard.

We had been going to Airmont Animal Hospital for years. First with our two previous dogs and now with our current two. We needed a refill for ear medication for one of the dogs. Something we'd gotten there for years. They no longer carry that medication and gave us an ear wash which didn't help, although we've used the wash in the past. i called yesterday to get a script for the med they no longer carry so we could get it elsewhere.

Three calls later no one called me back and I was finally told that we would have to bring the dog in. This is a repeat issue with the dog so I don't need the cost of an office visit plus culture for a refill of a med. 20+ year client and they didn't bat an eye when I told them I'm leaving because they just wouldn't fill an Rx.

Good care, and will usually get you in same day if you really need it, friendly but never cheap. My dogs last ear infection cost well over $400. Twice previous, I brought my dog there and had to pay for nothing because she(thedog) wouldn't let the vet people look at the issue. And time before that I had to pay $150 when the dog stepped on a piece of small glass and I couldn't tell if it was still in her paw, just for them to tell me they can't tell either and to come back if it doesn't get better. You can expect to pay $150 no matter what and at least. It is my personal opinion that it should be cheaper, if no care is given or help provided.
