Medical Exams
Comprehensive physical examinations serve as the foundation for all veterinary visits. Our doctors perform thorough assessments to detect health issues early and maintain wellness. Annual exams help identify potential problems before they become serious, with more frequent visits recommended for pets with medical conditions.
Veterinary Surgery
Our surgical services include routine and complex procedures with strict patient monitoring. We perform spays/neuters, soft tissue surgeries, and orthopedic procedures using modern anesthetic protocols. Pre-surgical evaluations ensure patient safety while post-operative care includes pain management and recovery monitoring.
Parasite Prevention
Year-round parasite prevention programs protect pets from fleas, ticks, and heartworms. We offer customized treatment plans using veterinary-grade products. Our services include flea control for indoor/outdoor pets, heartworm prevention with annual testing, and intestinal parasite screening through fecal examinations.
Emergency Services
After-hours emergency care available through partner clinics while we provide daytime urgent treatment. Our staff coordinates with 24/7 facilities to ensure continuity of care. We handle initial emergency stabilization before transferring critical patients to specialized emergency hospitals.
Microchipping
Permanent identification implantation services protect against pet loss. We place rice-sized microchips under the skin for secure identification. The procedure works with standard veterinary scanners and provides permanent identification even if collars become lost during emergencies or natural disasters.

Location, in my opinion, is good. Not far from Downtown Peoria, and just across from the riverboat in East Peoria, off Main street or Rt. 116. Very kind Doctors. All are very willing to answer your questions. I place a lot of trust in veterinarian care because I feel vulnerable as a pet parent. I trust them not to over prescribe or to judge me as a client coming to them for help. Finances are tough for most in these times, so I feel they are upfront about what is truly necessary. For me, as a klutz, I find their front door hard to open, but that's it.

So happy I found this place and it's right by our house! I could not have asked for better care for my pup. Her ear was bothering her and I was able to get her in quickly. The doctor and techs were awesome! I am excited to have this be our local vet! Kind, understanding and caring. What more can you ask for? I have had many nightmare experiences (mostly while living in GA and TX) so it was refreshing to find this place.

Dr. Ramirez and his staff are wonderful. The staff know and get my dog by her name and this is extremely beneficial to making her feel comfortable at the veterinarian. Dr. Ramirez treats both the animals and the owners with care and respect. He's very good at explaining the situation. I would highly recommend.
