Our doctors, technicians and support staff are some of the most skilled, compassionate and intelligent individuals in the veterinary profession. Our doctors have over 85 years of combined experience where as our certified technicians have over 96 years. Our employees are like family and are deeply involved in the pet and companion animal world; 1/3 of our staff has titled show dogs or are judges in AKC competitions.

We are a full service, state-of-the-art veterinary hospital. We are here to support you and your pet from the very first days throughout all of his or her life stages. We are a full service veterinary hospital including surgery, radiology, laboratory and pharmacy. Board certified surgeons and radiologist are available for consultation and procedures in-hospital. We carry a wide variety of prescription diets - if we don't have it we can order it for you.

Dr. Steve Vockert is the son of our "founding father" Dr. Walter Vockert. Dr. Steve became an integral part of Halsey East immediately following the completion of his education in 1987, purchasing the clinic in 2001 when Walter retired. He is a graduate of Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a fourteen month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the prestigious Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital in Springfield, Massachusetts.Dr. Steve has shared his life with many four legged family members and has two rescue cats that keep staff and clients entertained at the clinic.
