Veterinarian
Dr. Gerster graduated from Ross University in 1991 after studying at Michigan State University. She co-founded Towne & Country Animal Hospital in 1994 with her husband. She shares her home with three dogs.
Kurt Gerster
Veterinarian
Dr. Gerster earned his DVM from Ross University in 1991 after undergraduate work at University of Arizona. He co-founded the hospital with his wife Kristine. He previously practiced in Detroit before relocating to Brighton.
Natasha Lubinski
Veterinarian
Dr. Lubinski graduated from Michigan State University in 2016. Originally from Minnesota, she earned her biology degree at MSU. She follows Spartan sports and specializes in dermatology and soft tissue surgery.
Shannon Williams
Veterinarian
Dr. Williams earned her DVM at Michigan State University. She has special interests in dermatology and soft tissue surgery. A Howell native, she enjoys gardening and painting outside her veterinary work.

What emergency services do you offer?
We provide 7-day emergency care with trained teams available during regular business hours. Critical cases receive immediate triage prioritization.
Do you treat exotic pets?
Yes, select veterinarians offer specialized care for rabbits and pocket pets. Please call ahead to confirm availability for exotic animal appointments.
What diagnostic tools are available?

Are payment plans available?
While we don't offer financing, we provide senior citizen discounts and rescue group pricing with pre-approval. Payment is due at time of service.
How can I transfer my pet's records?
Email [email protected] or fax 810-220-7996 to transfer medical records. Please include your pet's name and current medications when sending documentation.
Do you offer house calls?
Quality of life consultations and euthanasia house calls are available by appointment. Please contact our office to schedule these specialized services.

Super disappointed. I have heard such good things about the veterinary clinic I found them to be very impersonal they took my dog away for a test and took the exam and all her shots outside of the room I had very little interaction with the vet

I am so pleased with Towne & Country! After discovering a puncture wound on my pup, I called 5 different 24-hour vets as mine was closed. Each did NOT have a vet on-duty! The woman that answered the phone at Towne & Country was kind, efficient, and empathetic. I was able get in immediately and receive excellent care at a very reasonable price. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your compassioniate care and for being there to help when it was needed.

I take all of my animals here I send my family memebers here and recently took my kitten here for his 1st time to get all of his work up done. Front desk to the assistants to the technicians to the doctors You feel well taken care of and that your animal will be too. they provided estimates since these days it's very hard to be provided with those, wait times are very low and they communicate with you well. I will continue to use their services for all of my animal needs.

Awesome people! We are first time customers here.we live in grand blanc and our cat was in distress. We called all around our area and could not find an open facility. My wife called here at 730pm and they were scheduled to close at 8pm, we arrived at 7:58 pm. Wow what an AWESOME AND AMAZING GROUP OF PEOPLE! They took us in, stayed way past closing time and gave us so much understanding and compassion.
Our cat did not make it through her ordeal, but these guys went way above and beyond to treat her and to help us through a very difficult time. Wish we heard more about people like this and less of all of the negative. You guys ROCK! My wife and I are forever grateful.

Great overall experience! The vet and techs were very personable and seemed to care about the animals. I have two cats, we were in and out in under and hour and the prices reasonable as well!
