Services
Medical Care
Our comprehensive medical care includes wellness exams, disease prevention, and treatment for acute/chronic conditions. Doctors perform physical exams, recommend vaccinations, and develop nutrition plans tailored to feline needs. Advanced diagnostics and treatments address complex health issues while emphasizing preventive care to maintain optimal feline health.
Vaccinations
We administer essential vaccines including rabies, feline leukemia, and upper respiratory disease protection. Our protocols follow AAFP guidelines to ensure safety while minimizing risks. Intranasal options reduce injection-related complications. Vaccination schedules protect kittens through adulthood while complying with Vermont state requirements and public health standards.
Boarding
Our cat-only boarding facilities offer clean, quiet environments with medical supervision. Multiple condo options accommodate single or multi-cat households. Guests enjoy play areas, individualized attention, and specialized care for senior or medically complex cats. Pre-boarding health requirements ensure safe stays for all feline guests.
Dental Services
Routine dental exams identify tartar buildup, gingivitis, and resorptive lesions during physical exams. We perform professional cleanings to prevent systemic infections from oral bacteria. Advanced dental care addresses painful conditions requiring extractions while emphasizing preventive oral hygiene practices for long-term feline wellness.
Medical Diagnostics
We utilize lab work, imaging, and specialized equipment for accurate diagnoses. Services include complete wellness panels with same-day results, cardiac imaging reviewed by specialists, ultrasound examinations, and radiography. These tools help detect hidden illnesses cats often mask, enabling timely interventions for conditions like organ disease or fractures.

Amazing! They provided kind and compassionate care to my young kitten, and I am very happy to have found such a great place to take my baby. The vet and the tech were just so nice! The staff at Affectionately Cats were very kind, professional and organized. They have a very efficient contact-less pet drop-off set up, and my cat was in and out of her routine check-up in under 30 minutes! The vet gave me a very detailed appointment summary and helpful tips on how to keep my cat healthy. I will definitely use them for my regular veterinary care!

They were able to get my cat in within a few days when he had an ear infection and even though it wasn't typical, they figured out what was wrong quickly. A few days later his ear is doing much better. Our visit was very professional and low stress for our cat which was appreciated.

Over the past few months I have brought in 3 different foster kittens. My anxiety was heightened by their varying issues. Affectionately Cats staff were AWESOME. for each case, they asked questions about history, examined them, provided immense amounts of reassurance, offered suggestions, and gave me information on possibilities, affordable tests to evaluate, and what to look for. I was pleased with their professionalism and attention to details that could become crucial in their care. AND EXAMS and vaccinations ARE important prior to spay or neuter surgery!

One kitten had an upper respiratory infection, which could have been an issue with his neuter surgery, which is now rescheduled! Thank you Dr. Kessler, for checking him out and making suggestions to help!

Our cat has been a patient at Affectionately Cats for five years and it has been the best veterinarian practice we have used for any pet. They are knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, easy to reach and responsive. Our kitty has had excellent care and has also enjoyed boarding in their beautiful facility while we were on vacation. I highly recommend this feline veterinary practice.

So glad to find a caring local vet to care for my anxious kitty! Even with covid precautions (curbside drop off/pickup) the entire team made us feel cared for. Clear communications and clearly everyone loves cats! My sweetie is home and snuggled up in my arms. Thank you to Dr. Miner for being so kind and compassionate. (Photos to show the team what she's like when she's calmer!)
