Trusted Cat Rescue & Adoption Services in Lincoln, CA
FieldHaven Feline Center was founded in 2003 by sisters Jann Flanagan and Joy Smith, who began rescuing feral cats from a rural Lincoln, California ranch. Our state-of-the-art facility, completed in 2011 in collaboration with UC Davis Koret Shelter Medicine Program, serves as a model for feline health and adoptability. We specialize in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, spay/neuter assistance, and fostering, operating entirely on donations as a 501(c)(3) organization. Our innovative indoor/outdoor community rooms allow cats to thrive while awaiting adoption, and our Marysville Resource Center extends services to surrounding communities. With over 20 years of experience, we combine veterinary expertise with community engagement to address cat overpopulation through evidence-based solutions.

Our volunteer-driven operations include a thrift store that funds our mission, while partnerships with regional animal services amplify our impact. We prioritize transparency in operations, maintaining accreditation as a nonprofit organization, and ensuring every cat receives individualized care. Our team of certified professionals and trained volunteers delivers reliable, ethical services that align with industry best practices. Through educational outreach and crisis relief initiatives, we empower communities to create sustainable solutions for feline welfare.

Adoptable cats reside in our state-of-the-art facility that features indoor/outdoor community rooms designed to maintain feline well-being during their transition period.
Trap-Neuter-Return
Our Trap-Neuter-Return program provides humane population control for community cats. The service includes trap loan assistance, surgical sterilization, and colony management guidance. This evidence-based approach reduces feral cat populations while maintaining ecosystem balance through non-lethal methods.
Spay/Neuter Assistance
The Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) offers financial and logistical support for cat sterilization. Services include subsidized clinic access, transportation assistance, and educational resources about responsible pet ownership. This initiative targets low-income households to increase access to preventive care.
Foster Care
FieldHaven's foster program expands our capacity to care for special needs cats and kittens. Volunteers receive training, medical supplies, and ongoing support while providing temporary housing. The program focuses on socialization and medical recovery for animals requiring extra care before adoption.
Kitten Sitters
Our Kitten Sitters program maintains mother-cat family units in their natural environment while providing necessary support. Trained volunteers monitor neonatal development, offer nutritional assistance, and facilitate socialization to improve adoptability of young kittens without separating them from their mothers.

This place is the best. The ranch that the property is on is so calming, and the volunteers clearly love animals to death.

Many kittens and cats saved from danger, medical help provided, heart breaking cases taken on, and all cats lives valued. It takes a village to help.

This is an excellent place to get animals taking care of or to adopt from. It's a little bit of a drive but it's beautiful countryside that you'll see. The people are so caring and love all animals

Do not recommend. terrible staff full of flat out lying white woman. High school students at petco might be a better choice!
