Business Details
We are the German Shepherd Dog Training Club of Chicago, offering specialized canine instruction to dog owners in our region. Our training programs encompass agility, nosework, and obedience, catering to a diverse range of handler needs. We maintain a structured schedule with sessions held on Sundays and Wednesdays, alongside self-led drop-in obedience training on Thursdays. Our club governance includes elected officers and dedicated directors who ensure high professional standards across all training modules. We actively organize annual events, such as the Summer Obedience Trial, allowing handlers to demonstrate their attained skills.
While our membership is exclusively for owners of AKC registered German Shepherd Dogs, our classes welcome all-breed and mixed-breed dog owners. We require pre-registration for our primary classes to maintain optimal trainer-to-handler ratios. Our instructors are experienced handlers who personally follow up with prospective clients to address specific training issues. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where both novice handlers and experienced dog owners can thrive. Our operational history spans decades, reflecting our deep commitment to canine education and responsible ownership.
