Services
Animal Adoption
Our adoption program matches homeless animals with loving families through a comprehensive screening process. We provide medical care, spay/neuter services, and behavioral assessments for dogs, cats, rabbits, and horses. Adopters receive guidance on pet care and integration to ensure successful long-term placements.
Spay/Neuter Services
Our low-cost spay/neuter clinics address pet overpopulation through surgical sterilization and vaccination. The TNVR program specifically targets feral cat colonies with trapping assistance and community education to reduce stray populations humanely and effectively.
Pet Food Pantry
This program provides temporary food assistance to low-income pet owners in Steuben County. We distribute donated pet food on a monthly basis to prevent pet relinquishment due to financial hardship while maintaining strict eligibility guidelines to ensure responsible pet ownership.
Humane Education
Our educational initiatives teach compassion and responsible pet care through school visits, shelter tours, and resource distribution. Programs emphasize animal welfare, bite prevention, and the importance of spay/neuter to create a more humane community for both people and animals.
Dog Training
Obedience training classes improve pet behavior and strengthen human-animal bonds through positive reinforcement techniques. These sessions help prevent pet relinquishment by addressing common behavioral issues and providing socialization opportunities for dogs and their owners.

A few years ago the SPCA moved to this location. It's far better here. I did not adopt on my visit. I donated dozens of blankets on behalf of my business. The staff is always kind and the volunteers are excellent.

Wonderful staff. Was able to get a stray cat trapped and fixed and they were excellent with this feral and able to get him treated for fleas, worms and ear mites while sedated.

A great organization that helps out a ton of homeless animals humanely and passionately. My cat I got from there is the best and you can tell he was cared for before I got him with his personality and his appearance. I cant say enough how much good work they do there. If youre looking to donate goods or money this is a place you should look into as they are extremely grateful as well
