Services
Wellness Care
Our comprehensive wellness exams detect health issues early through nose-to-tail physical assessments. We recommend annual checkups for adult pets and bi-annual visits for seniors, with personalized vaccination schedules and parasite prevention plans. Early detection of conditions like dental disease or arthritis helps maintain your pet's quality of life while potentially reducing long-term treatment costs.
Dental Care
Professional teeth cleanings under safe anesthesia remove tartar both above and below gumlines using ultrasonic scalers and hand instruments. We address periodontal disease through extractions when necessary and provide home care guidance. Regular dental maintenance prevents systemic infections that can affect vital organs, with early intervention often reversing early-stage disease.
Surgical Services
We perform routine and complex procedures including spays/neuters and soft tissue surgeries using modern anesthetic protocols tailored to each patient. Advanced monitoring equipment tracks vital signs during operations while post-operative care includes pain management guidance. Our surgical team emphasizes pre-surgical consultations to ensure pet owners understand procedures and recovery requirements.
Diagnostics
Digital radiography and ultrasound capabilities enable internal organ evaluation for diagnosing conditions like heart disease or bladder stones. Rapid in-house lab testing processes bloodwork and urinalysis within visit timeframe, allowing immediate treatment decisions. These tools help identify hidden health problems in asymptomatic pets during routine screenings.
Pet Boarding
Our climate-controlled boarding facility offers separate spaces for dogs and cats with outdoor runs for canine guests. Trained staff provides twice-daily exercise sessions and medication administration when needed. Onsite veterinary oversight ensures medical emergencies receive immediate attention, with optional bathing services available during stays.

MY BUNNY DIED! This Vet shows false pictures of care. I brought my bunny that was my Emotional Support Animal. My little girl to be saved by them and they turned me away. They said there wouldn't be a Rabbit Dr until 2 days later. They didnt even try to look at her at all! That is not enough time to help a bunny in GI Stasis. I even begged for critical care if they wouldn't see her and they said no, not without a exam and that couldn't be dome until 2 days later with the Rabbit Dr.

She doesn't do good in car rides and they said the only place I could go to was Madison. That was to far away, I knew she wouldn't make it. I blame them for not trying to help me save my animals life. I will never forgive each and everyone of you.

One of the only places about that work with rats. They have wonderful staff that we trust 100% with advice, surgery, and general opinions. Highly recommend

We started bringing our dog Annie in as a senior dog. DLVC doctors and staff always took good care of her. They have always been easy to reach and helpful with all our questions and concerns. For our last visit to say goodbye to our sweet girl DLVC was thoughtful, kind, patient and made the experience peaceful for us all. Thank you for all that you did for us, we will continue bringing our pets here for the great service and helpful staff.

Took my dog there for his eye when he had to be checked for a incident. They said he had allergies to dunce his eye out and give him allergy meds so I did. I gave the dog to someone and now they say he might need surgery. They should of known this when I took him in a year a go for this. They don't examine the animals properly because if they did they would if known this when I first took him in.

This was my cats first visit and they made all of us feel right at home. Staff is very friendly and super considerate of both your needs and your furry friends needs. Great prices and great care. We will definitely be making Delavan Lakes our regular vet.

My dog has allergies with frequent ear and skin infections that cost $$$ to treat with frequent office visits They charge 50% more for Apoquel than Walmart ($90 vs $50 for a 30 day supply). They will not fax or call in a prescription refill, you have to go pick up a paper prescription. If you call in with a concern (weaning Prednisone) you will be communicating with the vet through a technician. The vet does not speak to you directly. That is, if they call you back at all the same day which they did not. #nolongeraclienthere
