Animal lovers. In everything we do, we believe in caring for every pet we see like our own and making a difference in your life. I love working at Bastrop Vet because of the personal relationships with clients and the variety of species we see. I love the animals of course, but I also love the variety that veterinary medicine has provided - this profession allows me to continue learning every single day, and there are countless opportunities to use the gifts God has given me to serve Him.I love veterinary medicine, especially mixed animal medicine, for the variety it provides.
Emergency
Report
We understand that emergencies do happen. Our professional staff is ready to help with any emergencies that occur during business hours. With our access to in-house laboratory and imaging, we try to pinpoint the problem as fast as possible and aim to keep your pet comfortable. Just like people, some emergencies require more specialized and intensive care.
Companion Animal
Report
Regular wellness examinations or checkups are vital in order to keep your pet as healthy and happy as possible. These visits give us an opportunity to perform a thorough physical exam and help identify any medical problems your pet may have that would affect their quality of life. We start each visit with a discussion regarding your pet's current health at home, any concerns you may have for today, and a history of any symptoms your pet may have.
