New Haven Central Hospital Our medical staff includes over 30 doctors of which 17 are board certified specialists. They are supported by a diverse hospital team of technicians, client liaisons, technician assistants and administrators. We have been honored to receive the "Best of New Haven" award eight times. Although our greatest accomplishment has been, and always will be, serving our community. We are one of the largest veterinary hospitals in the state. Our brand new hospital was designed so we can provide a very high level of care to our patients.

Our veterinarians are supported by a diverse hospital team of nurses, technicians, handlers and administrators. Central Hospital For Veterinary Medicine is also supported by 10 associated member doctor clinics in the greater New Haven area. Dr. Harley received her undergraduate degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.

Dr. Lindell received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced general medicine and surgery for several years, then completed a residency in veterinary behavior through Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lindell is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists.

Prior to joining Central Hospital for Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Shakeri completed 5 years of intensive, post-doctoral training to be able to confidently provide exceptional veterinary care for the avian and exotic animals in our area. After graduating with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois, Dr. Shakeri completed a 1-year internship in general canine and feline medicine and surgery here in Connecticut, followed by a 1-year specialty internship in avian and exotic animal medicine in Maryland, and finally a 3-year residency in avian medicine and surgery in Tampa, Florida.
